Funding for nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials and new production technologies R&D

If you are a high-tech business involved in R&D activities relevant to nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials and new production technologies (NMP), this funding could be for you.

FP7 funding for these areas aims to benefit new, high tech industries and higher-value, knowledge-based traditional industries, with a special focus on the appropriate dissemination of research results to businesses - so your involvement is strongly encouraged!

€3.5bn is dedicated to this funding stream and where businesses are involved in a research project, they can expect to access at least 15% of the funding. Typically projects can access up to €3m, and businesses can finance up to 75% of their R&D costs and 100% of their management costs.

All projects have to be transnational and so you are required to work in partnership with other companies or research institutes based elsewhere in the EU.
