Applications are submitted following the publication of a 'Call for Proposals' which outline the areas of work for which funding is available.

MEDIA 2007 funds SMEs developing single media projects (dramas, animations or creative documentaries) or interactive works.

Media ‘Automatic’ Scheme 2009: provides funds to distributors of European films.

Intelligent Energy Europe: this programme tackles non-technological barriers to the spread of efficient use of energy and greater use of new and renewable energy sources. The 2009 call for proposals is out now with an overall budget of €65m available to support projects promoting energy efficiency.
