For promoting audiovisuals globally ...

The MEDIA 2007 promotion and access to the market programme promotes European audiovisuals to the world.

Proposal deadlines: Proposals are due by 30th June 2010 for annual activities taking place in 2011 and activities starting between 1st January 2011 and 31st May 2011.

For European production companies ...

The MEDIA 2007 i2i audiovisual programme supports independent European production companies with access to funding from banks and financial institutions.

Proposal deadlines: Applications for proposals must be submitted at the latest by 7 July 2010, for projects starting between 1 January 2010 and 7 July 2010.

For research and Innovation ...

FP7 supports collaborative research and development projects. The ICT FET Open Scheme is a open to proposals from small and medium-scale projects looking into long-term research in ICT.

Proposal deadlines: proposals are due by 24th May 2011.

European Progress Microfinance Facility This will open in a new window EC legislation This Decision establishes new fund to encourage the development of microcredit in support of growth and employment. It identifies four priority areas for action: improving the legal and institutional environment in the Member States, changing the climate in favor of employment and entrepreneurship, promoting best practices and providing additional financial capital for microfinance institutions and has €100 million in its budget.

Energy:

Management of Spent Fuel and Radioactive WasteThis will open in a new window EC consultation The objective of this consultation is to gather input from all interested parties on the possibility of drafting a new legislative proposal governing the management of spent fuel and radioactive waste. EU legislation is possibly required as a driver for Member States to take the necessary decisions and define the requirements and steps to ensure the safe management of spent fuel and radioactive waste by public or private organisation in their countries.

Public Health:

Veterinary Medicinal Products This will open in a new window EC consultation The aim of the consultation is to consult all relevant stakeholders on their views on the strengths and weaknesses of the current legal framework for veterinary medicinal products and how it could be improved.

Research:

European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) This will open in a new windowEC consultation
As the initial funding phase of the EDCTP programme will expire in 2010, the purpose of this consultation is to invite the views and opinions of EDCTP stakeholders, experts active in the fields and the public at large on the need for and nature of a new EDCTP initiative.

Sport:

New EU Competence in the Field of Sport EC consultation This consultation seeks to gain views of organisations and citizens with an interest in sport regarding strategic choices for the implementation of the new EU competence in the field of sport. In particular, it seeks input in identifying existing challenges and possible priorities for EU action.
