FP7 Funding calls

There are 51 new open calls for proposals under the Seventh Framework Programme, FP7. This programme supports collaborative projects aiming at research and development in the following subject areas:

• Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) (8 calls)
• Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new Production Technologies (12 calls)

• Transport (including Aeronautics) (9 calls)
• Socio-Economic Sciences and the Humanities (4 calls)

Environment

The Eco-innovation funding call supports projects in various sectors which aim to prevent or reduce the environmental impact of, or contribute to the optimal use of resources.

Proposal deadlines: Applications for proposals must be submitted by 9th September 2010.

Shell Springboard is offering a financial boost of up to £40,000 for a small number of UK businesses who submit the most compelling plans for a product or service which helps combat climate change.

Proposal deadlines: Applications for proposals must be submitted by 5th November 2010.

Media

The Media Mundus Programme supports cooperative projects between European professionals and professionals from third-world countries, to the mutual benefit of the European audiovisual sector third-world countries.

Proposal deadlines: proposals are due by 15th October 2010.
