Security related research and development
Businesses involved in the following activities can benefit from this FP7 funding scheme:
- security of citizens
- security of infra-structures and utilities
- intelligent surveillance and border security
- restoring security and safety in case of crisis
Of the €1.3bn dedicated to this funding stream, the share going to businesses is expected to be at least €200m.
Businesses can have 75% of their R&D and 100% of the project management costs covered. Small and medium-scale collaborative projects can access up to a €3m grant.
All projects have to be transnational and so you are required to work in partnership with other companies or research institutes based elsewhere in the EU.
