Funding for space-related R&D
If you are a high-tech business involved in the space industry this funding could be for you.
FP7 funding for this theme is aimed at supporting space-based applications, especially GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) and R&D support for the foundations of space science, exploration, space transportation and space technology.
Of the €1.4bn dedicated to this funding stream, the share going to businesses is expected to be at least €210m – so your involvement is strongly encouraged.
Businesses can have 75% of their R&D costs, and 100% of their management costs fudnded. Small and medium-scale collaborative projects can access up to €3m.
All projects have to be transnational and so you are required to work in partnership with other companies or research institutes based elsewhere in the EU.
